How we are together is truly, as Mom says, "A God thing." We "met" at church one Sunday in Sunday School--this being the only time Kyle was ever in my class. Our meeting actually went more along the lines of me noticing him..........and noticing him........and noting that he sat two rows up from me in church. We never talked or made any real eye contact, so I was surprised when I received a facebook friend request from him several days later. I was excited..and after a few messages I agreed to have coffee with him at Starbucks three months ago. I will always remember calling home glowing and squealing to my parents about the amazing man with whom I had just spent a three hour coffee conversation. A few dates later we knew there was something quite special and God ordained in "us."
Kyle is about to be promoted to Senior Airman in the United States Air Force. So lookie there....I did get my man in uniform after all! Isn't God amazing to throw in there the one thing that sets my heart a pitter pattering?! ;)
Kyle is one of the most Godly men I have ever met. I am a blessed woman indeed......I look forward to sharing more as God continues to open doors for us =)
Blessings and another post soon =)
Sarah

Oh my word, girl, congratulations!! :) Such a happy thing.
I love your blog!
awesome! a man in uniform makes hearts melt :)
I so knew about this already, but I am SO super excited for you!! I want more details!! How long is he stationed at Dyess for?
I pray blessings on the new wonderful thing in your life! I'm sorry that we are too far away to meet him. I can't wait for what God has planned to unfold! :0)
He is at Dyess until they move him or he puts in for a PCS. He enlisted (right word?) for 6 years and has served two thus far. As you can tell, I'm brushing up on the military lingo. Do they make a "dummy" book for civies?! ;)
They do have some good books that would help you learn a lot about the AF. :o)(maybe I'll send you one...) And yes, you used the right word. Does he plan to reenlist at this time? Tony is in for 6 years also, and has served 1 so far. Usually they leave the single Airmen at a base for about 2 years, but of course that's not true for everybody! You know he can catch a hop to Hawaii for free, right? ;o)
How exciting, Sarah!! Can't wait to hear the rest of the story....
So very happy for you, Sarah!
Sarah, this post makes things sound oh so serious...
